Harvesting Canola

Harvesting Canola

$12.50Price

While my family farm mostly harvests wheat and barley, we also always dedicate a few paddocks to growing canola. Canola is far more difficult to work with, and while it pays higher per tonne, the seeds are tiny in comparison to wheat grains, and it is more volatile during extreem weather related events, such as frost and drought. This image was taken after it had rained for a couple of days and we were waiting for the moisture content of the canola to drop back down so we could continue harvesting, because if it is too high penalties are applied when delivering it to CBH.

This image was captured in 2.7k resolution on my DJI Mini 2 SE, and is 32.1MB.
