This image really encapsulates the beauty of the outback and it's vast array of different landscapes. This is a connection between two large saltlakes, giant lakes that dry out to reveal a pure white base of salt. The railway at the bottom of the picture is the Eastern Goldfields Rail, connecting Perth to the Goldfields and further on to the Easten States of Australia.
